"Soon after my 10 month old daughter and I moved to Texas to live with family, I came to Lighthouse Christian Ministries and was helped with food for myself, formula for my daughter, diapers, wipes, and even some very cute clothes. I soon realized the family situation I moved into was not a safe place for me to raise my daughter. There was a time when I lacked transportation for two weeks. LCM noticed that I had stopped coming. After learning of our situation, they had food delivered to us.
I am doing well now. I have a job and a safe place to live. When I first moved here, I was scared and I was 600 miles from the place where I grew up. Because of LCMs help and that of my friends, I am moving forward. I would like to pay it forward by donating some unopened formula and baby clothes to help other moms in our community."
